Qualifications

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, managing equipment, and ensuring an exceptional and safe experience for all participants, ranging from beginners to more advanced enthusiasts. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, energetic, and possesses strong instructional and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct professional instruction and guidance in various water sports such as kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and sailing.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, enforcing safety rules and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate daily operations of the water sports centre, including equipment setup, maintenance, and inventory management.
• Schedule activities and manage participant bookings and waivers.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering guest inquiries and promoting activities.
• Assist with the organization and execution of special water-based events or group activities.

Requirements

• Certification in relevant water sports instruction (e.g., kayaking, SUP, sailing) from a recognized body.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification are mandatory.
• Previous experience (2+ years) as a water sports instructor or in a similar recreational leadership role.
