Job summary

Placements24 is offering an exciting Graduate Civil Engineer internship based in Richards Bay with a focus on water resources. You will gain practical experience in water supply, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management while contributing to design, analysis, and reporting tasks.

You will work under experienced professionals in a remote-friendly setting, receiving mentorship and hands-on exposure to meaningful environmental projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources.
• Strong academic record with interest in water engineering and related environmental topics.
• Familiarity with hydrology, hydraulics and environmental engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to engineering software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection and analysis for water resource projects.
• Support design of water and wastewater treatment systems and infrastructure.
• Help prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Learn to use specialized software for hydraulic modeling and water quality analysis.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
