Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with Water Resources specialization.
- At least 6 years of water and wastewater project experience.
- Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS) and GIS.
- Strong project management and contract administration skills.
- Knowledge of water treatment, distribution systems, and regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design and supervise water supply networks, wastewater treatment, and stormwater systems.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis for water and sewer networks.
- Develop water conservation and drought management plans.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and water quality standards.
- Prepare feasibility studies, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with municipal officials to improve service delivery in Richards Bay.
