Placements24 is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Pretoria team, focusing on the design, development and management of municipal water supply, wastewater and stormwater systems. You will apply hydraulic modeling and project management to deliver robust water infrastructure for public clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources or Environmental specialization.
• Registered as Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) with ECSA.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in water resources for municipal infrastructure.
• Proficient in hydraulic modeling software (EPANET/SWMM/InfoWorks).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee water and wastewater treatment plant development.
• Model and analyze water distribution networks and sewer systems.
• Develop stormwater management plans for urban and rural areas.
• Assess feasibility and impacts of water infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings and tender docs.
• Manage projects from conception through completion to meet budget/schedule.
