Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Water Resources Civil Engineer to join our client’s on-site team. The role focuses on planning, designing, and implementing water supply, drainage, flood control, and wastewater projects in collaboration with municipal authorities and development partners.

The candidate will apply hydrological principles to deliver resilient water infrastructure and will take a hands-on approach across project lifecycle, from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in water resources engineering.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, EPANET).
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and environmental regulations.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, treatment plants, and pumping stations.
• Conduct hydrological studies, flood risk assessments, and hydraulic modeling.
• Develop stormwater management plans and designs for urban and rural developments.
