Job summary

TFG Logistics is seeking a Trainer II to design and deliver comprehensive training programs for distribution centre operations in South Africa. You will assess training needs, develop materials, and evaluate effectiveness while leading small projects.

You will collaborate with the Skills Development Team, ensure systems training on WMOS, maintain learner records, and support readiness activities across the DC network. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in training delivery and design.
• Experience creating user guides and SOPs.
• Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning.
• Understanding of Logistics, Supply Chain, and DC operations is advantageous.
• 3–5 years experience with WMOS/warehouse systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage monthly learner intakes with the Skills Development Team and training calendars.
• Develop and quality-check training materials, SOPs, quick-reference guides, and training scenarios.
• Create and coordinate training data, user profiles, roles and permissions for WMOS.
• Deliver classroom and system training for DC processes.
• Collaborate with SMEs to enhance training content.
• Conduct competency assessments, coach learners, and sign off as competent.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Maintain attendance, learner records, assessment evidence, and reports.
• Coordinate learner handover and supervised placement with DC operations.
• Support Logistics BOP and SOP training, system implementations and readiness.
