Placements24 is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor in Polokwane to lead a warehouse team and drive daily operations. You will ensure productivity targets, accuracy, and safety standards while optimizing workflows.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to motivate staff, and solid warehouse operations knowledge, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping. WMS experience is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage warehouse staff.
• Solid understanding of receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
• Experience with WMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of warehouse associates, providing training and performance management.
• Monitor daily operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping of stock movements.
• Identify and address operational bottlenecks to improve workflow and productivity.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for operational improvements.
