Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to supervise daily operations at our Centurion facility in Gauteng. This hands-on role requires strong leadership to guide a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods on-site.

The successful candidate will drive safety, quality, and process improvements while mentoring team members and enforcing company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Lead or similar supervisory role.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping and receiving.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
• Commitment to a safe, positive work culture in Centurion, Gauteng.

About the Role

This role requires a proactive individual who can guide and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods. This is a hands-on position that demands excellent leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality standards within the logistics and warehousing industry. The role is based entirely on-site, requiring full commitment to the operational environment.
