Job summary

Enaex seeks a Warehouse Operator to support forklift operations, loading/unloading, and stock control. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and timely dispatch through daily checks, FIFO inventory practices, and clear communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities include verifying product types and quantities, preparing products for loading, and completing administrative tasks to keep records up to date. This role emphasizes safety and collaboration in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to verify product type and quantities during loading/unloading.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate inventory records and following FIFO.
• Clear communication with customers and team members to coordinate deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and effectively to load and unload materials from trucks and bakkies, while performing routine equipment checks to meet safety standards.
• Execute daily dispatch preparation by reviewing dispatch requirements, preparing products for loading, updating the magazine register, and completing the necessary administrative tasks.
• Support correct loading operations by verifying product type and quantities, assisting in the physical loading onto vehicles, and finalising administrative documentation within set timelines.
• Handle loading and offloading tasks in compliance with safety protocols and loading diagrams, ensuring product integrity during handling and transport.
• Conduct daily stock counts, update the magazine stock register, and follow FIFO practices to prevent expiration and maintain accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor, and assist in stock organisation.
• Organise and store materials in designated areas, ensuring secure and accessible placement while keeping records up to date.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding deliveries and address queries to ensure service satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth warehouse and dispatch operations and resolve operational concerns.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and participate in safety training to uphold a secure working environment.
