Job summary

Pillango Placements is seeking a reliable forklift operator to support daily warehouse activities in Centurion, South Africa. The role involves safe forklift operation, loading/offloading, and stock movement, with attention to safety and efficient workflow.

You will perform pre-shift checks, assist with stocktakes, and maintain neat, compliant work areas while using PPE and working with the team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator licence and certification.
• 1–2 years forklift experience in a warehouse.
• Understanding of safety checks and PPE requirements.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) are beneficial.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely while protecting people, stock, buildings and equipment.
• Carry out pre-shift equipment checks and document inspections.
• Assist with loading/offloading and stock movements.
• Move pallets and stock around the warehouse.
• Support packing and stocktakes when not operating the forklift.
• Report discrepancies and follow supervisor instructions.
