Job summary

Talented Recruitment is seeking a warehouse operative to manage receiving, put-away and stock movements. You will verify deliveries, label goods, and store them in correct locations while maintaining safety and documentation.

Responsibilities include picking stock, applying FIFO/FEFO, conducting cycle counts, and operating a reach truck where certified. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and housekeeping to support audits and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Previous warehouse, stores, logistics or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in receiving, picking, stock control and stocktaking advantageous.
• Valid reach truck operator certification/licence appropriate to the equipment operated.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming stock and verify against delivery notes and orders.
• Label and store stock in designated locations following safety rules.
• Pull and pick stock using approved lists and transfer documentation.
• Record stock movements and report shortages or damages immediately.
• Operate reach truck and other material handling equipment safely and legally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation to support audits and safety.
