The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a team of warehouse and general workers while maintaining strict organizational standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in store/warehouse or inventory management.
• Minimum 2 years of staff management experience.
• Strong stock control and inventory management expertise.
• Computer literacy and experience with inventory systems.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Valid driver''s licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the stores and warehouse.
• Supervise, lead and motivate a team of storemen, pickers, packers and general workers.
• Ensure accurate receiving, checking, binning and dispatching of stock.
• Maintain high levels of stock accuracy, through regular cycle counts and stock-takes.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Ensure all stock movements are correctly processed and documented.
• Monitor and maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the warehouse.
• Coordinate with sales and procurement departments to ensure stock availability.
• Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and controls.
• Assist with the training and development of store personnel.
• Produce reports relating to stock control and warehouse performance.
