Abantu Staffing Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Stock Controller to manage daily stock inflow and outflow across all warehouses, ensuring accurate records and efficient distribution.
The role requires Grade 12, a Storekeeping certificate, 3 years' experience, a valid Code 08 licence, and forklift/ reach truck certification. You will work closely with warehouse teams to maintain FIFO, conduct weekly stock counts, and support admin duties to align with sales and production.
Grade 12 or equivalent
Certificate in Storekeeping and Stock Control (NQF 5)/ Warehouse Management
3 years of experience working in a similar role/ capacity
Ability to work independently
Valid driver’s licence (code 08)
Computer literacy
Forklift licence/ reach truck licence
Support and maintain the daily inflow of finished goods products within all warehouses and the daily outflow of finished goods products for distribution
Support and maintain all stock and warehouse administrative duties
Weekly stock counting within all warehouses, balance findings to previous stock counts and report any stock discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor and manager for further investigation
Support the movement of daily stock from production to designated warehouses as per daily operational planning
Record and capture stock and expiry dates within warehouses
Assist in establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures for all activities relating to stock control and creating visual aids within warehouses for staff
Coordinate and record all on-hold, rework, and restricted stock within all warehouses and production areas
Coordinate the repacking of non-conforming stock with general assistants and the warehouse supervisor, and ensure all re-packed product is placed in relevant locations
Inspect and record finished goods product returned from the market with the lab and warehouse administrator
Work daily with the quality department in releasing finished goods and products within the warehouses and assisting timeously with requested sample stock
Liaise daily with the warehouse team leaders regarding released stock for distribution trucks
Ensure FIFO is practised for all finished goods products within all warehouses
Inspect and report on the physical condition of warehouses (i.e. damages, leaks, racking damages, etc.) to the warehouse supervisor and manager
Assist with daily inspections and ensure the cleaning of all MHE (forklifts, articulated forklifts, batteries, company bakkies, and trucks)
Monitor warehouse consumables and report shortages to the warehouse administrator timeously
Assist with warehouse operational reports (i.e. inventory, traceability and racking inspection reports)
Manage all admin-related duties and liaise with the warehouse supervisor and manager to ensure that all activities are in sync with other functions (sales and production)
Assist with warehouse ad-hoc duties
