Job summary

Aspire Recruiting (PTY) LTD is seeking an experienced Warehouse Chargehand to oversee daily workflows, manage stock distribution, and lead the team to meet performance targets with service excellence. You will drive receiving, warehousing, inventory distribution, and dispatch planning while ensuring adherence to policies and high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Valid RSA driver’s license with reliable transport.
• Experience in animal feed manufacturing/distribution is advantageous.

Job description

Role Overview

Our Client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Chargehand to oversee daily operational workflows, manage stock distribution, and lead the team to meet performance targets while maintaining high standards of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations in strict compliance with operational policies and standard procedures.

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, inventory distribution, and routine facility maintenance.

• Manage order processing workflows and assist with logistical coordination and dispatch planning.

• Maintain service excellence to ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Drive operational efficiency to meet and exceed warehouse throughput and service targets.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of extensive operational experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.

  • At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Licensing & Transport: Valid South African (RSA) driver’s license with reliable personal transport.

• Industry Advantage: Prior experience or background within the animal feed manufacturing/distribution industry is strongly advantageous.
