Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for Paarden Eiland to oversee daily warehouse operations, stock control, receiving, dispatch and staff performance. The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, accuracy in picking/packing, and timely deliveries.

The candidate will manage staff, ensure stock integrity, and coordinate with planning for inventory availability, while maintaining safety and compliance in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.

• Oversee imported, external warehouse and bonded stock.
• Manage damaged, returned and clearance stock.
• Maintain warehouse organisation and housekeeping.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts.
• Assist with scheduled stocktakes.
• Investigate shortages, damages and discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate stock capturing.
• Prepare inventory and reconciliation reports.
• Liaise with Planning regarding stock availability and variances.
• Supervise and coordinate warehouse personnel.
• Allocate duties and monitor productivity.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping and timesheets.
• Conduct daily team briefings.
• Train staff on procedures and safety requirements.
• Coordinate local deliveries, bulk dispatches and transfers.
• Verify stock against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Inspect incoming and returned stock.
• Ensure orders are correctly picked, packed and dispatched.
• Maintain accurate delivery records.

R18 000 – R20 000 per month, depending on experience

We are recruiting an experienced, hands‑on and highly organised Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, stock control, receiving, dispatch and staff performance.

The successful candidate must be confident managing people, resolving stock discrepancies and ensuring that orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Stock Control

• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Allocate customer orders and monitor order fulfilment.
• Monitor stock movements, transfers and inventory accuracy.
• Oversee imported, external warehouse and bonded stock.

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
