Job summary

Staff Solutions in Johannesburg is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to manage inbound, outbound, and inventory control activities. You will ensure full traceability through Data Dotting and accurate stock movement within our system.

You will receive, inspect, bin, pick, and pack stock, process GRNs within 24 hours, and contribute to 5S and safety initiatives. A Grade 12 and 5 years of warehouse experience are required; forklift licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
• Minimum 5 years’ warehouse experience in automotive/parts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming stock against packing lists and POs.
• Perform Data Dotting and maintain full traceability of serialized parts.
• Bin, pick, and pack stock according to system requirements and dispatch schedules.
• Process GRNs within 24 hours of stock receipt.
• Conduct cycle counts, stock takes, and investigate variances.
• Maintain a clean, safe 5S workplace and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Operate forklifts (where licensed) and assist with loading/unloading.
• Capture all warehouse transactions in the system.

Job Description

This role is responsible for all Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory Control activities, including Data Dotting of parts to ensure complete traceability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming parts against packing lists and purchase orders captured in the business system.
• Perform Data Dotting and maintain full traceability of all serialized parts.
• Accurately bin, pick, and pack stock in accordance with system requirements and dispatch schedules.
• Complete Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) within 24 hours of receiving stock.
• Assist with cycle counts, stock takes, and stock variance investigations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment in line with 5S and Health & Safety standards.
• Operate forklifts (where licensed) and assist with vehicle loading and unloading activities.
• Capture and process all warehouse transactions accurately within the system.
• Conduct branch, dealer, and supplier collections and deliveries as required.
• Participate in parts standby duties during weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
