Job summary

Bsisteel in South Africa is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist in general warehouse duties, including stock handling and housekeeping. You will ensure stickers are pulled with correct quantities and safeguard beams area cleanliness.

Also responsible for protecting stock from rain with tarpaulins and assisting in loading and offloading of trucks, while adhering to safety standards and deadlines.

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Matric or equivalent qualification required.

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:

• To assist in general warehouse duties.
• To make sure that all stickers are pulled with correct quantities and look after the beams area in terms of housekeeping.
• Make sure that the stock is protected from rain by covering with tarpaulins at all times.
• Also help in loading and offloading of trucks.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Maintain allocated section of the warehouse to the company required standard and ensure a high quality of workmanship at all levels
• Comply with the Occupational, Health and Safety Act and inform the maintenance supervisor when the ability to fulfill the above obligations is endangered.
