Job summary

Staffing-Jet is seeking a Service Technician – Drives & Control to join our technical team in Rustenburg. You will diagnose, repair and test VSDs and Soft Starters, support customers and sales teams, and participate in on-site commissioning and fault resolution.

You will read electrical schematics, prepare technical reports and ensure ISO-compliant documentation while providing 24/7 support where required. A strong fault-finding ability and valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Electrical/Technical qualification with N5 / T3 / S3 / S4 Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing and testing VSDs & Soft Starters.
• Managing warranty processes and GRNs.
• Providing 24-hour technical support to customers and sales teams.
• On-site technical support, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Preparing monthly technical reports and maintaining ISO records.
