Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a Luxury Reservations Concierge for our Regional Africa Office. You will be the first point of contact for VIP, repeat and ultra-luxury reservations, curating personalised stays from confirmation to arrival.

You will coordinate bespoke experiences, maintain detailed guest profiles, and collaborate with Front Office, Guest Relations, F&B, Spa and Transportation to deliver exceptional luxury service and drive guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury hospitality.
• Experience in Reservations, Concierge, Guest Relations or Front Office.
• Experience with international luxury hotel brands preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guest Journey Management: manage VIP reservations from confirmation to arrival.
• Personalised Experience Planning: coordinate bespoke experiences (transfers, dining, spa, excursions).
• Reservations Excellence: process bookings accurately and maintain records.
• Guest Communication: respond promptly and warmly via email/phone.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: work with Front Office, Guest Relations, F&B, Spa, Transportation, Sales.
• Revenue & Upselling: identify opportunities for upgrades and premium experiences.
• Guest Data & CRM: maintain detailed profiles and privacy compliance.
• Service Recovery: resolve issues promptly and escalate when needed.
