Job summary

The Talent Room in Western Cape offers a hands-on internship in automotive sales, from customer engagement to vehicle delivery. You will assist sales consultants, help with presentations, and gain exposure to day-to-day dealership operations.

This role emphasizes developing professional communication, customer service, and administrative skills while learning pricing, quotations, and lead tracking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Previous experience selling cars is not required, great entry into Motor/Automotive Industry.
• Nice-to-have: studying towards or completed qualification in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, or Commerce.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales consultants with customer enquiries and follow-ups.
• Support vehicle presentations and test drive arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and leads.
• Assist with preparing sales documentation, quotations, invoices and delivery paperwork.
• Participate in dealership events, activations and promotions.
• Conduct research on vehicle models, pricing and competitor offerings.
• Assist with updating online vehicle listings and marketing content.
• Learn to track and report on performance metrics such as lead conversions and sales targets.
• Provide administrative support to the sales and finance teams.
