Job summary

M-KOPA is seeking a Customer Insights Associate to support UX research and turn customer feedback into actionable product insights. You will conduct interviews, code data, and synthesize findings for diverse markets across Africa, under the guidance of senior researchers.

This role is on-site in South Africa and offers opportunities to grow with a hands-on, craft-building path in early-career research, including fieldwork in multiple markets and languages.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in telephone survey methodology or related research field.
• Exposure to qualitative and quantitative methods with a degree in a relevant discipline.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork within South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Run research sessions, code qualitative data, and synthesise insights for product teams.
• Conduct telephone interviews and surveys, then present findings in structured reports.
• Collaborate with senior researchers and iterate research outputs with judgement.
