Capitec is seeking an experienced UX Designer to design, validate, and optimise seamless customer experiences that enable users to discover, purchase, and manage connectivity products within the Capitec App through a secure checkout journey.

The role sits at the intersection of digital banking, telecommunications, and customer experience, translating telecom offerings and backend processes into intuitive journeys.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Service Design.
• Experience translating telecom products into intuitive digital experiences.
• Proficiency in user journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end customer journeys for mobile and web connectivity products within the Capitec ecosystem.
• Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs that simplify complex telecom offerings.
• Design seamless and secure checkout experiences that drive conversion while maintaining compliance and security standards.
• Ensure consistency across customer touchpoints and channels through reusable design patterns and component libraries.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Telecom Specialists, and Business Stakeholders to align user needs with business objectives.
