Job summary

Capitec Bank is seeking a Systems Analyst in Stellenbosch to design end-to-end solutions that connect business needs with technology. You will translate complex requirements into clear system diagrams and collaborate with developers and business partners to refine architectures.

Ideal candidates have strong systems design experience, a background in software engineering, and exposure to integrated systems in regulated or large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum tertiary qualification in Information Technology (Computer Science or Information Systems).
• 5–8 years’ experience in Systems Design and Analysis.
• Exposure to complex system integrations.
• Background in software engineering advantageous; telco experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design system solutions that fit into a wider technology landscape and support real business outcomes.
• Break complex requirements into clear, structured components for development teams.
• Translate technical concepts into diagrams, documentation and explanations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers and business partners to refine solutions and resolve issues.
• Review delivered solutions to ensure alignment with the original design and adjust as needed.
