Job summary

Capitec Bank is seeking a Systems Analyst to design end-to-end solutions that connect ideas, technology and people. You’ll turn complex business needs into clear system designs, diagrams and documentation that teams can build and support.

You will work with developers, engineers and business partners to refine solutions, review delivered work and ensure alignment with original design. A background in software development and strong SQL/web tech knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
• 5–8 years’ experience in Systems Design and Analysis
• Exposure to complex system integrations
• Strong understanding of development environments (background in software engineering advantageous) At least 1–2 years of telco experience (advantageous) Ideal:

Responsibilities

• Design system solutions that fit into a wider technology landscape and support real business outcomes
• Break complex requirements into clear, structured components that development teams can easily implement.
• Translate technical concepts into diagrams, documentation and explanations that others can understand and use.
• Work closely with developers, engineers and business partners to refine solutions and resolve system issues.
• Review delivered solutions to ensure they align with the original design and make adjustments where needed.
