Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Urban Design Architect to shape major urban regeneration projects in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will lead concept development, master planning and public realm design, aligning social, economic and environmental goals with visionary urban outcomes.

The role requires a ProArch registration with SACAP (or equivalent) and a minimum of 8 years in urban design or master planning, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, GIS and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with SACAP or equivalent urban planning/design credential.
• Minimum of 8 years in urban design, master planning or related fields.
• Proven experience leading or contributing to urban development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, GIS and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning and development processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop urban design concepts, master plans and frameworks for new developments and regeneration projects.
