The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and at least five years of professional urban development experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in civil engineering with urban development focus.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Knowledge of South African building regulations and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Design and develop plans for urban infrastructure projects including roads, sidewalks, drainage, and public spaces.
Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather design data.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and regulators for compliance.
Monitor construction progress and conduct site inspections to ensure quality.
Contribute to sustainable urban planning strategies and solutions.
