About the Role

Our client, a prominent international energy company, is seeking an experienced Upstream Project Manager to oversee significant projects within their operations based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal . This role is pivotal in managing the full lifecycle of upstream oil and gas projects, from conceptualization through to execution and closure. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The position requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the upstream energy sector. You will work closely with engineering, operations, procurement, and regulatory teams to achieve project objectives and contribute to the company's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of upstream E&P projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
