Cementation Africa invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Shift Supervisor to be placed in Tharisa Mine. The successful candidate will report to the Mine Overseer and will lead underground crews to achieve production and quality targets in line with the company, client requirements and safety standards.

Requirements include Grade 12 / NQF 4, Blasting Certificate of Competency, Shift Supervisor Certificate, First Aid, Medical Fitness, and strong English literacy and

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent required.
• Blasting Certificate of Competency mandatory.
• Recognised Shift Supervisor Certificate required.
• Valid First Aid certificate required.
• Strong English literacy and numeracy (minimum NQF 3).
• Medical Certificate of Fitness required.

Responsabilités

• Safely achieve production and quality targets per DMR, client, and Cementation Africa requirements.
• Lead underground crews to meet project scope and targets.
• Control costs and optimize efficiency to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with legal regs and company safety policies.
• Engage stakeholders for smooth workflows and target attainment.
• Identify and mitigate risks in line with regulations and standards.
• Prepare timely, accurate reporting and administration.
• Adhere to MHSA, SHEQ, and client requirements.
