Job summary

Pro Talent in South Africa is seeking a hands-on maintenance assistant for the truck yard, performing minor repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in good working order.

The role requires at least 2 years of mechanical or maintenance experience, basic to intermediate mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with a basic salary up to R17 000.

Qualifications

• Experience working at a truck dealership, trucking company or similar environment would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of trailer maintenance, tyre care and minor repairs.

Truck Yard Maintenance

Job Purpose

To assist with the day-to-day maintenance of trucks and trailers at the truck yard, ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained in good working condition through minor repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance.
