Job summary

Bridgestone Johannesburg is seeking a Treasury Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership of the treasury function, covering liquidity management, banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, FX operations and debt management.

You will lead a small team, partner with finance and reporting colleagues, implement process improvements in SAP and Reval, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• In-depth knowledge of treasury operations and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with FX hedging strategies and risk management.
• SAP proficiency including GL reconciliations and FICO modules.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee liquidity management and cash flow forecasting.
• Manage banking relationships and daily payments via CitiDirect.
• Lead debt management, investments, and hedging strategies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls.
• Develop and mentor Treasury team members.
