Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Treasury Manager to oversee financial operations and liquidity management from our Port Elizabeth office. You will be responsible for cash flow forecasting, debt issuance, investment portfolios, and risk mitigation to ensure the company's financial health.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, a Treasury certification (ACT preferred), and at least 6 years in corporate treasury with strong leadership and banking

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required.
ACT treasury certification is highly preferred.
Minimum 6 years of corporate treasury experience.
Experience in cash management, debt issuance and investments.
In-depth knowledge of financial markets and banking operations.

Responsibilities

Manage daily cash operations including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
Develop and execute debt management, FX, and interest rate risk strategies.
Maintain relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
Oversee surplus cash investments according to policy and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with treasury policies and financial regulations in Port Elizabeth.
