Job summary

Recruitpartners is seeking a hands-on Treasury Manager in Isando to lead daily cash flow, liquidity planning and funding decisions. The role covers FX, LCs, intercompany transfers and treasury risk controls within an FMCG context.

The successful candidate will manage 13-week cash forecasts, banking relationships and ensure accurate reporting, while driving process improvements and system enhancements. This is a senior treasury leadership opportunity requiring strong analytical and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent essential.
• Up to 5 years’ relevant operational experience, ideally in FMCG.
• Experience in Corporate Finance and Treasury Operations.
• Strong understanding of cash flow, liquidity, funding, banking and financial risk.
• Experience managing FX, LCs, working capital and banking relationships.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash flow and monitor liquidity requirements.
• Prepare and oversee 13-week rolling cash flow forecast.
• Produce daily cash position and monthly treasury reports.
• Forecast borrowing requirements and support funding decisions.
• Manage funding commitments, loan reporting and payments.
• Optimise debtor and creditor working capital in collaboration with Finance.
• Review and approve local and foreign payments per policies.
• Oversee intercompany and interbank transfers, including cash sweeping.
• Manage Letters of Credit including documentation.
• Oversee FX activities, exposures, currency purchases and hedging.
• Ensure import/export documentation and compliance with exchange controls.
• Maintain AML and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain banking relationships and mandates.
• Resolve banking queries related to FX, LCs, loans, payments.
• Review reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain FX rates in SAP.
• Identify treasury risks and implement controls.
• Drive improvements across treasury processes and systems.
• Support treasury system implementations and user training.
• Provide guidance on liquidity, funding and cash management.
