Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality is seeking a proactive, hands-on platform manager to run our travel booking system. The role entails maintaining flights, activities, transfers, rates, and content, while ensuring accurate quotes across agent tiers.

You will troubleshoot issues with developers, rollout features, and oversee supplier relationships. You will also coordinate marketing content, onboard new partners, and help shape the platform's growth strategy, including promotions and roadmap ideas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and managing a travel booking/itinerary platform and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Travel industry background with knowledge of DMCs and safari markets in Southern/East Africa.
• Strong grasp of travel pricing: nett and rack rates, STO agreements, commissions, margins.
• Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy when loading flights, activities, transfers, rates and promotions.
• Experience managing product content and working with suppliers or partners.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple tasks and follow up proactively.
• Confident communicator and trainer with onboarding experience for agents or colleagues.
• Experience with CRM tools, payment tools and API live-availability integrations.

Responsibilities

• Load and maintain flights (scheduled and charter), activities and transfers, including rates, descriptions, images and all travel legs.
• Ensure rates, content and images pull through correctly on quotes and itineraries for every agent tier.
• Run system checks, troubleshoot issues, log snags with developers and follow up.
• Test, roll out and document new system features and updates.
• Oversee tenancy settings, supplier notifications, banners and external user toggles.
• Onboard and manage third-party properties, including STO rate sheets, contracts and content.
• Keep pipeline of new partners moving and follow up on live availability and API integrations.
• Oversee marketing projects covering property pages, operator pages, images and descriptions.
• Maintain supplier accounts, including emails and emergency contacts for each property.
• Set up, test and retire specials and promotions (seasonal, honeymoon, last-minute, system-only).
• Contribute to roadmap strategy on revenue opportunities and commission balance.
