Job summary

Ninety One, Cape Town, seeks a Transfers and Onboarding Administrator to handle voluntary, TFSA, Section 14 and Living Annuity transfers. You will work with Life Companies to ensure accurate, timely transfers and maintain service levels.

Your role involves logging queries, chasing progress, and escalating issues as needed while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Financial services experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Financial Services experience specifically Asset Management, Retirement Funds and Unit Trust Offshore experience
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in dealing with Section 14, Living Annuity, voluntary, and offshore transfers
• Relevant degree/diploma (advantage)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Package
• Excellent business writing skills
• Strong knowledge of transfer processes and requirements

Responsibilities

• Administer transfer instructions in line with legislation and business processes
• Understand specific transfer requirements for the various Life Companies
• Manage flow of work items (queries, requests, and instructions) in line with agreed SLAs
• Contact Life Companies to chase & expedite transfers in progress
• Expedite unit transfers with various competitor unit trust management companies
• Take full responsibility and own transfer process from cradle to grave
• Manage inbound calls from other Life Companies
• Manage flow of work in close conjunction with other IP Operations and Servicing teams
• Log and resolve queries
• Identify trends and raise with FNZ on a continuous basis
• Maintain agreed upon turnaround times on all administrative tasks
• Attend regular team meetings
• Be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Be approachable, available, and helpful as the point of escalation and clarity
