Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants in Sandton seeks a detail-oriented transfers administrator to manage key relationships, document transfers, and ensure QA and regulatory compliance within retirement fund operations. The role requires meticulous record-keeping, timely handling of tax directives, and ongoing process improvements.

You will liaise with trustees and related parties, maintain tracking systems, and support the team with training and back-up duties to ensure smooth end-to-end transfer

Responsibilities

• Manage key relationships and communication with all related parties.
• Implement and record all transfers/transactions and update tracking systems.
• Conduct Quality Assurance of New Business cases and provide feedback.
• Draw up and complete transfer documentation from beginning to end.
• Collate relevant information for tax directive applications.
• Apply for tax directives on applicable transfers.
• Liaise with the Principal Officer and Trustees for Retirement Fund Transfers.
• Manage and prepare ROT processes including follow-up of Rots & proof of payments.
• Resolve queries on Unallocated List with transferring companies.
• Identify and communicate process improvements within the transfer space.
• Manage instructions and queries via mailbox and dashboard within SLA timeframes.
• Ensure all processes are compliant with legislation and regulations.
• Maintain industry knowledge on Retirement, Life Investment Funds, and Unit Trusts.
• Keep abreast of industry and market developments.
• Understand business unit processes and procedures.
• Train and back up team members.
• Ensure standard processes are followed.
