Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / NSC is mandatory.
• Trade-tested Toolmaker and/or Mechanical Fitter & Turner.
• 2–3 years’ practical experience as a Toolmaker, Toolsetter or Maintenance Technician.
• Strong mechanical technical ability and understanding of machinery.
• Good mathematical and calculation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts per roster.
• Reliable, accurate and administratively oriented.
• Physically fit for a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to learn, take initiative and follow instructions.
• Passport essential; travel to China may be required.

Responsibilities

• Tooling: maintain tool quality, set up tools, and perform servicing.
• Maintenance: perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery.
• General: follow management instructions and maintain safety-conscious work habits.
