Job summary

TWK Agri is seeking a Marketer: Timber in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga to drive timber marketing, coordinate supplier relations and manage pricing and compliance processes. The role involves field-based engagement, coordinating orders, maintaining records and supporting audits.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in forestry or related sectors, with strong admin, MS Excel and reporting skills, and willingness to travel. This permanent position reports to Timber Marketing.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 and relevant tertiary qualification.
• Diploma or Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3–5 years’ administrative or practical experience in forestry, timber, agriculture, supply chain, compliance or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain supplier, landowner, contractor and market records with accuracy.
• Provide admin and operational support across timber marketing activities.
• Maintain compliance documentation (COC, DDS, EUDR) and related records.
• Prepare and maintain supplier/contractor/market agreements and supporting documents.
• Coordinate supplier tickets, orders and deliveries; ensure timely follow-up and reporting.
• Support internal/external audits with accurate records and documentation.
• Update monthly tracking, forecasts and operational reports.
• Assist with certification and COC implementation with suppliers.
