Job summary

Global pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to cover JHB South, West and Vaal territories. The role focuses on delivering promotional content and improving health outcomes for patients by engaging healthcare professionals.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in pharma, strong selling/presentation skills, and a solid understanding of compliance. Onboarding customers to digital platforms is part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor degree required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
• Experience with doctors, specialists and pharmacies is essential.
• Effective selling and presentation skills both virtually and in person.
• Digital and non-digital learning agility.
• Good business knowledge and customer acumen.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to change.
• Solid understanding of compliance and integrity principles.
• Basic computer literacy: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in-person and virtually to grow the business and drive product demand.
• Provide compliant promotional content and patient-focused solutions.
• Onboard customers to new operating models and digital platforms.
• Develop and execute territory business plans and track progress.
• Produce reports and share insights to support management decisions.
• Maintain accurate customer lists and timely expense submissions.
• Continuously develop personal development plans and respond to feedback.
