Job summary

A leading administrative services provider in South Africa seeks an HR Administrator for temporary support within their HR department. Responsibilities include conducting bulk recruitment and onboarding new employees while maintaining relevant databases. The ideal candidate has a Matric qualification and at least one year of HR administrator experience. This role requires strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office packages.

Job Purpose

To provide administrative support within the Human Resources department of SSDA.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum Matric qualification is mandatory.
  • HR qualification is an advantage.
  • Must have experience in end-to-end bulk recruitment.
  • Must have good working experience in MS Excel and Word packages.
  • Must have strong administration skills.
Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Conduct end-to-end bulk recruitment including sourcing candidates, screening CVs, booking interviews, conducting competency-based interviews, facilitating assessments and conducting checks.
  • Onboard new employees and compile soft copy and hard copy of new employee personnel files.
  • Maintain new employee take‑on database and Excel reports such as recruitment information and disciplinary record.
  • Perform ad‑hoc admin and filing.
  • Provide support to HR Officer and Head.
Skills & Attributes Required
  • Ability to collate, and process information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Aptitude in decision‑making and problem‑solving.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completion of tasks.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office packages, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent planning, organizing and time‑management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Professional.
