Job summary

Kontak Recruitment in Johannesburg seeks a Telesales Clerk / Student Liaison Officer to drive outreach with prospective students and employers. You will explain programmes, handle registrations, and build relationships with business contacts as you generate leads and close conversions.

You will manage 60 outbound calls daily, follow up on inquiries, and maintain a robust sales pipeline while leveraging LinkedIn and other channels to replenish prospects and registrations.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required; a relevant qualification or sales course is advantageous.
• 2 years’ telesales, sales or student sales recruitment experience expected.
• Experience dealing with businesses and a proactive, target-driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong telephone manners.

Responsibilities

• Make a minimum of 60 outbound calls per working day.
• Identify needs, explain programmes and assist with registration processes.
• Follow up with prospects via phone, email, WhatsApp and other approved channels.
• Generate leads through LinkedIn, referrals and networking.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and report on activity and conversions.
