Job summary

Umphakathi Recruitment seeks a target-driven Tele-sales Representative to generate new business. You will conduct outbound calls, present our products/services, qualify leads, and close sales or book appointments for our sales team.

Responsibilities include qualifying leads, identifying customer needs, handling objections, and meeting or exceeding daily call and sales targets while maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of proven experience in outbound tele-sales or call center sales.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and phone etiquette.
• Strong objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Proficient in CRM software and basic computer applications.
• Target-driven, resilient, and comfortable working under pressure.
• Grade 12 / High School Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective B2B/B2C clients.
• Qualify leads, identify customer needs, and present tailored solutions.
• Handle objections professionally and close sales or secure meeting bookings.
• Consistently achieve daily call volumes and sales/conversion targets.
• Maintain accurate lead and call records in the CRM system.
