Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Telecommunications Technician or similar role.
• Solid understanding of telecom network infrastructure, protocols, and equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment for fiber optics and copper networks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various work sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and servers.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity and voice/data transmission.
• Manage the installation and repair of fiber optic and copper cabling systems.
• Conduct site surveys and plan for new installations or upgrades.
• Ensure all installations and repairs meet industry standards and company specifications.
• Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
