Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Telecom Field Technician in Port Elizabeth to install, maintain and repair telecommunications equipment across the Eastern Cape. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test telecommunications equipment, including fiber optic cables, modems, routers, and wireless access points.
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on network infrastructure and customer premises equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in telecommunications systems, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
• Respond to service calls and customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including installation details, test results, and repair actions taken.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures while working on-site.
