Job summary

The partner company in South Africa is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to help developers and enterprise customers build and operate an AI platform. You’ll troubleshoot API, authentication, and integration issues while collaborating with engineering and commercial teams.

You’ll document solutions, write how-to guides, and contribute to product reliability and customer success in a fast-moving environment with cloud, APIs, and observability tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical support or related engineering role.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across web platforms and cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Excellent technical writing and ability to create user guides and FAQs.
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot API and integration issues across OAuth, API-keys, and HTTP errors.
• Investigate root causes using logs, metrics, and observability signals.
• Document bugs and edge cases and communicate findings to engineering.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams to resolve issues.
