Job summary

Growth Resourcing is helping a UK-based B2B technology provider to appoint a highly technical SEO & Web Performance Specialist. You will own the website’s technical SEO, improve Core Web Vitals, and enhance organic search performance while working with an external development partner to implement changes.

You will diagnose, fix page speed, mobile performance, and scripts, and lead audits of crawling, indexing and rendering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical SEO experience.
• Strong understanding of how websites work technically.
• Proven experience improving Core Web Vitals and website performance.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of crawling, indexing, and rendering.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and Chrome DevTools.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving website performance issues.
• Experience working directly with web developers.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly technical SEO & Web Performance Specialist to take ownership of the website’s technical SEO, performance, search visibility and overall user experience.

This is a hands‑on role focused on identifying and resolving technical issues, improving Core Web Vitals and page speed, and enhancing organic search performance. You will also work closely with an external development partner to ensure website improvements are effectively implemented, monitored and measured.
