Job summary

Ntice Search Solutions seeks an experienced Technical Sales Assistant Manager – Projects & Machinery in Amanzimtoti area. You will drive equipment sales and service delivery, build strong customer relationships, and lead project quotes from site assessments to close.

The role requires a technical background with 5+ years in project management and sales, plus knowledge of automotive and non-automotive machinery.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical field is required.
• N6 certificate or equivalent is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years project management and sales experience.
• Knowledge of automotive and non-automotive sectors beneficial.
• Intermediate MS Office skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Achieve divisional sales targets with no loss to gross profit.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of projects, spares, and services.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with annuity revenue focus.
• Conduct budget variance analysis and monthly forecasts.
• Build customer understanding through regular visits to offices, factories and sites.
• Assess project requirements on-site and provide accurate technical quotations.
• Offer ongoing consultation for projects and spare parts via daily liaison.
• Manage full project lifecycle: planning, contract admin, site management, cost control, closeout.
• Coordinate international and local contractors; ensure specs clarity.
• Deliver projects with focus on schedule, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain and logistics; align shipping schedules.
• Support international visitors and contractors, including after-hours needs.
• Promote agency products: industrial robots, moulding equipment, pumps, pneumatic parts.
• Foster strategic supplier and customer relationships for new opportunities.
• Propose process improvements for internal and external operations.
• Prepare bi-weekly and weekly sales activity reports.
