Job summary

Centurion Systems, part of FAAC Technologies Group, seeks a Sales Consultant to develop installer relationships in the Cape Town region. You will provide product knowledge, support installers, and act as a conduit to service departments.

Responsibilities include on-site visits, diagnostics, training, and documenting outcomes while using Zoho CRM and other platforms for coordination and reporting.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent with technical diploma advantageous.
• 3+ years in technical sales or field support in access automation or electronic security.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Stable internet connection for VoIP, remote meetings and CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with installers in Cape Town to grow product knowledge and sales.
• Support installers, upsell and cross-sell Centurion products.
• Conduct site visits for installations, diagnostics and escalations.
• Document site visits and provide feedback to teams.
• Log installer interactions in CRM and prepare weekly reports.

Main Responsibilities:

Establishing strong relationships with our installer base in the Cape Town region, assisting them by developing their product knowledge and sales approach. Be an effective conduit between the installers and Centurion service departments.

• Supporting and empowering installers to promote the full Centurion product and service offering.
• Encouraging, upselling and cross-selling through installer channels.
• Adding potential new installers to expand the network.

Advanced Field Support:

• Conducting site visits to support installations, diagnostics and escalations for installers.
• Providing technical guidance to installers using advanced product knowledge.
• Escalating unresolved issues to Centurion’s Product Quality or Technical Support teams.
• Documenting site visit outcomes, including technical notes and feedback to enhance development and support processes.

Training & Enablement:

• Identifying and delivering product training in the field.
• Supporting product awareness campaigns and act as a brand ambassador during installer engagements.

System & Process Integration:

• Booking and logging all installer interactions in Centurion’s CRM (e.g. Zoho) and ticketing systems.
• Using company-provided communication platforms (chat, email, telephony) for internal and external coordination.
• Submitting weekly strategy reports based on site visits, installer feedback, market trends and sales activities.
• Providing input on local market trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications and other Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent - Technical Diploma or N4 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years in a technical sales or field support roles, preferably in the access automation or electronic security industry
• Familiarity with Centurion Systems products and application is a strong advantage.
• Reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license
