Job summary

SASSO CONSULTING is seeking a technically strong Project Sales and Business Development professional in Century City, Cape Town. The role focuses on selling intelligent lighting and building automation solutions to consultants, contractors and system integrators across South Africa and beyond.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in technical sales within electrical/automation sectors, a strong electrical background, and the ability to drive projects from specification through completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Technical Sales, Project Sales, Business Development or Solution Sales in electrical/automation environments.
• Experience selling to consultants, contractors and system integrators is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage projects from specification to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic business opportunities across South Africa and support Sub-Saharan expansion.
• Drive project and solution sales for intelligent lighting and building automation.
• Educate the market on lighting control solutions and build a commissioning partner network.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and maintain CRM records.
