The ideal candidate will supervise staff, maintain quality standards, and assist with general factory activities as needed, based in Paarl or surrounding areas.

Our client an established Paarl-based business operating across retail and contract packaging are looking for a Technical Maintenance / Production Supervisor.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced production environment. We are looking for a technically capable individual to oversee the operation and maintenance of form-fill-seal (FFS) machinery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and oversee form-fill-seal (FFS) machines in terms of general operational maintenance.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or operational problems and minimise production downtime.
• Supervise production staff and coordinate daily workflow – the is the overall capacity supervision not individual staff.
• Monitor production output and help ensure targets are met.
• Maintain product quality and production standards
• Assist with general factory and packaging operations as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven hands-on experience operating form-fill-seal (FFS) machines.
• Strong mechanical and technical ability.
