Job summary

BCX in Pretoria is seeking an onsite support specialist to install, maintain, and service customer sites in the fuel sector. You will ensure quality onsite support and strive to meet SLAs, while maintaining productivity and reducing average call times.

The role requires 1–2 years of PC hardware experience in the fuel industry, and certifications such as A+ and N+. A valid driver’s licence is essential, with willingness to undergo industry training.

Qualifications

• NQF 4: Grade 12 National Diploma
• 1–2 years’ PC hardware support experience in the fuel industry
• A+ and N+ certifications
• Valid driver’s licence (required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support as prescribed by the SLA for all clients.
• Maintain a 95% SLA as per the on-site department’s goal per month.
• Maintain 80% productivity for the month.
• Reduce the average time per onsite call to 120 minutes per call per month.
• Provide all information or documentation required to complete a call or project.
• Complete all information required to close or update a call on simplicity.
• Provide feedback to clients on status of calls.
• Maintain good relations with internal departments and external partners to achieve client satisfaction and growth.
• Identify business growth within existing clients and new clients

The purpose of the job is the onsite installation, maintenance and service of BCX customer sites in the fuel industry. Ensuring quality onsite support to all client’s service, in accordance with the Project Charter and the contractual SLAs for each service area .
